Committed to being the best at everything she did, especially in her role as little sister to her beloved brother, Marky.
A talented multi-sport athlete and brilliant scholar who loved going to school and playing with friends.

Philomena was diagnosed with DIPG at age seven. Her parents – Mark and Mina – explored every treatment available. They were shocked to discover that adult chemotherapy, which would likely make symptoms worse by attacking rapidly growing cells, was her only option. The family prayed for a miracle and built a strong community of 20,000+ supporters by sharing Phil’s story.

Only ten months after her diagnosis, DIPG took Philomena’s young life. When she passed from this Earth, Phil was surrounded by family, friends and an online community of 20,000 loving supporters.
